空调分歧管是用于VRV（变制冷剂量）空调系统，连接主机和多个末端设备（蒸发器）的连接管，分为气管和液管。气管一般口径比液管要粗。制冷剂经过膨胀阀或者毛细管节流，然后从主机出口出来之后连接分支器的液管。制冷剂经过液管分流可以分出其他的分支器和末端蒸发器。制冷剂在蒸发器中经吸热变成气体之后经过气管流回主机的压缩机。

空调分岐管就相当于水管的分叉头，作用是用来分流冷媒的，多连机分岐管是用作串连几个风口的配件。空调分歧管的选型是根据每个分歧管后所连接的室内机的容量来确定的。

空调分歧管可以横装或竖装,横装时分管口与水平线的夹角须小于15度;竖装时,面对两分管口,任何一个分管口与垂直线夹角须小于15度;两分管口以后的管路须保证60公分以上的直管段;小分歧管不可以代替大分歧管。

分支器的进口和出口均是经过变径的多节铜管组成。更增加了选型的灵活性。常见的分支器品牌有格力、大金、日立、海尔、三菱、美的，约克。
