Description

王羲之（321年-379年或303年-361年），字逸少，世称王右军。琅邪（今山东临沂）人，后移居会稽山阴（今浙江绍兴），淮南太守王旷之子。东晋书法家、文学家。

该手工陶瓷作品选自王羲之的典故《羲之爱鹅》

（羲之）性爱鹅。会稽有孤居姥，养一鹅善鸣，求市未能得，遂携亲友命驾就观。姥闻羲之将至，烹以待之，羲之叹息弥日。
羲之欣然写毕，笼鹅而归，甚以为乐，其任率如此。尝诣门生家，见篚几滑净，因书之，真草相半。后为其父误刮去之，门生惊懊者累日。羲之书为世所重，皆此类也。每自称：“我书比钟繇，当抗行；比张芝草，犹当雁行也。”曾与人书云：“张芝临池学书，池水尽黑，使人耽之若是，未必后之也。” ——节选自《晋书·王羲之传》

“羲之爱鹅”后来被当作文人雅士情趣生活的体现，后人将其与“陶渊明爱菊、周茂叔爱莲、林和靖爱鹤”并称，是为“四爱”。“四爱”的题材常常出现在明清以至民国的瓷器和绘画中，以表现文士高士风雅清逸，迥出尘俗的超然情志。
